That evening we had dinner with our friends and surprised the kids with s'mores for dessert. When we did our backyard extreme makeover last year Aaron built a fire pit. We didn't use it much last summer so I really wanted to do this for the kids. Andrew didn't like the fire but liked the end product. Colin loved the fire but only had a few bites of his s'more. It amazes me how different they are in their own wonderful way. All of the kids were VERY sticky and VERY happy. Such a great time and a happy memory.

Doesn't it seem so easy with just one around the house. There is no fighting. Who needs to go camping if you can now make s'mores in your backyard...
I love your fire pit in the back yard. That is really cool.
